FST 1224 - Embalming II 4 Credit Hours
This course is a continuation of FST 1213 with emphasis placed on the principles and techniques of embalming. Topics covered include linear and anatomical guides, case analyses, handling special case problems, formulating chemical solutions, a complete analysis of the circulatory system, an explanation of the equipment used in the embalming process, and methods of injection and drainage. Participate in 10 clinical embalming cases.
Prerequisite: Embalming I (FST 1213 ). Lecture Hours: Three hours lecture. Clinical Hours: One hour clinical lab which includes participation in at least 10 embalming cases.
