This course presents local area network and wide area network connectivity. It focuses on architectures, topologies, protocols, and transport methods of a network. IST students are required to pass the Microsoft Technology Associates Certification test.
Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Data Communications (IST 1133). Lecture Hours: Two hours lecture. Lab Hours: Two hours lab.
